The Gulf's Largest Jewish Gathering
Rabbi Levi Duchman, leader of the UAE Jewish community, and Lea Hadad, members of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, were married in front of more than 1,500 guests at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island hotel, the largest Jewish gathering in the Arabian Gulf to date.
Duchman, who has lived in the United Arab Emirates since 2014, has been instrumental to the growth of the Jewish population in the Emirates, which has seen a meteoric rise since the signing of the Abraham Accords in 2020, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab countries.
