Under the Sultanate [ongoing]
Since 2011, the Middle East Caving and Expeditionary Team (MECET), a group of primarily expatriate cavers, has been exploring the caves of Oman. Their ongoing project is the deepest known cave in the Gulf and one of the deepest in the Middle East.
